Last week was half term in the Midlands (where I’m originally from) so I had a little visitor last week. Tilly is my niece and I love her dearly and with this year being my busiest yet it was so nice to make some time to hang out with her.

Being a photographer does mean you’re perpetually working though so Tilly escorted me to London while I spoke at Photography Farm Elements and she was good and gold and sat quietly while I had a few client meetings at home! But also, Tilly flexed her model skills and modelled a few clothes for me.

Awamu is an incredible little venture, run by a friend I met through a festival years ago. But not only is what they’re doing at Awamu simply awesome (have a read of what they do here), so are the clothes they are selling. Lovely prints on cute little dresses and skirts through to little giraffes on lovely thick cotton tops. And I can’t get over how reasonable they are. So my reason for blogging these images of Tilly is to encourage you to head over to the Awamu shop and check their wares out. You can see I accessorised Tilly with warm tights and boots and these amazing clothes are so versatile. They even have a few things for adults too. Please take a look and purchase something for your littleuns, you won’t regret it…

(ps, no train tracks, or little girl, were harmed in the shooting of these images!)
