It’s shameful how long it’s been since I posted but as Spring sets in I’m starting to look forward to wedding season and I felt like we should get some excitement going! I’ve got a load of beautiful weddings from last year that are yet to go up but I’m starting with this corker of a wedding.
Firstly, I want to say a huge thanks to James for entrusting me with the photography for his wedding. Not only is he a fellow photographer but he was a boss of sorts when I did work experience at PYMCA when I started out as a photographer so it was a huge honour. James has a love of Martin Parr (their guest book was a Martin Parr book – inspired!) and documentary photography so it was ace to have a free reign to do that sort of stuff.
Their venue blew. Me. Away. This wedding was in September and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since. They married in a walled garden on Wasing Park Estate then we all walked down to the secret woodland where James & Inger had set up a simple table area among towering firs and small lakes. There was a rope swing, camping under the stars, hog roast, friends DJing, eco loos. Just incredible. And Inger looked amazing in her mini dress.
