It is great in low-light situations and indoor events like weddings, parties, and concerts. The 61-point autofocus system is robust and can accurately lock onto a subject in situations where lighting is not ideal.

Which is better Canon EOS 5D Mark III or IV?
The Canon EOS 5D Mark IV is better in every aspect than the 5D Mark III, except for the price. The main reason to upgrade from the Mark III to the Mark IV is if you want a faster focusing system, more focus points, and less noise in higher ISO.
But this doesn’t mean that the Canon EOS 5D Mark III isn’t a great camera. And with its dropping price, it’s becoming an even better value. If you want a great full-frame DSLR camera, either one of these cameras is a great choice.

The Canon EOS 5D Mark III is still a great camera and worth buying. While it won’t have the latest technology like 4k video or dual pixel AF, it still has many features that make it a top-notch DSLR such as excellent low-light performance, dual SD card slots, and fast autofocus.
Its 22.3 full-frame CMOS sensor is more than enough for most people and I know a lot of pros who still use this camera as their main body.
It’s still a great choice for anyone who wants to take high-quality photos without breaking the bank.
I’ve used it in a lot of poor lighting conditions and I was still able to get good results. The build quality is excellent and it feels very sturdy in your hands.

Is Canon 5D Mark III discontinued?

Yes, it has continuous autofocus during photos. But when taking videos, it gets a little bit frustrating because you need to manually refocus the focus point if you point the camera on another subject. It can be hard to keep the focus on a moving subject towards you.
